Shopify Conversion Rate Calculator

Calculate your conversion rate, revenue per visitor and ROAS. Then simulate how much extra revenue a better conversion rate can bring.

In short

You calculate conversion rate with the formula orders ÷ visitors × 100. With 200 orders and 10,000 visitors it is 2%. The calculator also shows revenue per visitor, ROAS and the extra revenue you gain when your conversion rate improves.

Understanding conversion rate

Conversion rate = orders ÷ visitors × 100. It shows what percentage of your visitors buy.

Revenue per visitor = revenue ÷ visitors. It is often more telling than conversion rate alone because it includes order value.

ROAS = revenue ÷ ad spend. It shows how much revenue each unit of advertising money brings.

A better conversion rate works like extra traffic without extra ad spend. The CRO audit and the CRO checklist help you find the biggest levers.

Frequently asked questions

  • How is conversion rate calculated?

    Conversion rate = orders ÷ visitors × 100. With 10,000 visitors and 200 orders it is 2%.

  • What is a good conversion rate for a Shopify store?

It depends on industry, price and traffic source. Many stores sit roughly between 1% and 3%. More important than comparing is improving your own rate step by step.

  • What does revenue per visitor mean?

Revenue per visitor (RPV) shows how much each visitor brings on average. It combines conversion rate and order value in one metric.

  • How does the revenue uplift simulator help?

It shows how much additional revenue you gain if your conversion rate rises by a relative percentage at the same traffic, so you can see whether optimisation is worth it.
